This Notice is intended to explain how the Personal Information you provide to the Company when making an enquiry electronically (via e-mail or our website) or in writing will be used and protected and your rights regarding your personal information.

As part of the services we offer, we are required to process personal and special category information relating to you. The processing of the information you provide may include the following activities:

  • Arrange an appointment for you to attend our clinic for the test(s) requested.
  • Provide information to enable the accurate analysis and reporting of Clinical data.
  • Provide information to NHS Healthcare providers, our regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as part of our contractual obligations.

Our lawful basis for processing your Personal Information is as follows

a. We have a legal obligation to do so under the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
b. We have obtained your consent to process your information.

If we need to ask for your permission, we will provide you with a clear choice and ask you to confirm your consent. We will also clearly explain to you what we need the personal information for and your right to withdraw your consent at any time and ask for your personal information to erased.

The personal information you make available to the Company will be held on our servers, access to which is strictly controlled through the use of both physical and logical security measures.

Our personal information policy and procedures comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulations.

We may be required to make your personal data available to the following third parties:- NHS Healthcare providers, External auditors, Regulatory Authority Inspectors, sub-contractors engaged to carry out analysis of diagnostic test recording and the generation of test reports.
